My mother recently discovered a pile of these local interest newspapers in her loft. Mum helped on Snooze and was part of the Stirchley Community Action Group. I also helped a little on Snooze, occasionally, with typing and layout (very occasionally, I must point out, and I was not a major contributor in any way). I've looked around on the internet and found that a BBC domesday project had released some info on Snooze, see here so thought I would scan these old copies and put them online, hopefully accessible to a much wider audience this time around.
There are a few copies missing, and I have only scanned the first issue so far, and will post it when I have more time. I have chosen to blank out private house numbers and phone numbers, where mentioned, as some people are either no longer with us or have moved.

Hi, you might be named in issue 2 then, there's a few more contributors names in that one. If you have issue 7 that would be great, I know that one is missing as I've managed to scan up to number six so far. Bet this is bringing back memories!

Might be able to help. My friend and I sere 'responsible' for the Hot Gossip page at the back. I've got some copies somewhere. Will try to hunt them out.
